Was Bruce Lee really as tough as people made him to be?

Was Bruce Lee really as tough as people made him to be? Look before you continue reading know that I am not going to answer this question but just going to shed some light on this topic. Over the last 25 to 30 years millions of people have been talking about and discussing Bruce Lee and calling him the most toughest and strongest Martial Arts person ever. Now first of all this is totally false and rubbish. People only say this as it the only record people have.

There would have been thousands of more warriors in the past much stronger than him.

  1. …that sounds sort of ridiculous: your assuming that because there have been “so many fighters” in the past, that he would not be tougher/better than them?

By that argument, nobody could ever be the best in the modern era… when likely the more modern fighters have the advantage of history and information to give them more technical proficiency. So, perhaps there will be a better fighter in the future – but just assuming that years ago there MUST have been a better fighter because there are so many fighters in the past doesn’t really make any sense.

*Not that I am saying Bruce is the greatest fighter, but arguing that he is not BECAUSE of who has gone before is illogical.
